2015 Oscars Best Dressed

As I previously promised you to share a couple of my favourites from the Oscars 2015, I'm doing it now. Who deserved a loudest applause? Who rocked it best? Who broke my heart by her look? I think Kate Blanchette in her black Maison Margiela by John Galliano dress beatifully supplemented by a Tiffany & Co. turquoise, aquamarine, and diamond bib necklace and Lupita Nyong'o in her white pearl-embedded custom made Calvin Klein by F. Costa frock are out-of the question the best! Though I also can't ignore Meryl Streep in Lanvin. Anna Kendrick in custom Thacoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, in Ralph & Russo, with Anna Hu Haute Joaillerie jewels. La Love!

Have you noticed any change?

Do you remember two of my posts (1, 2) where I was writing about some sort of smell of changes I felt in the air? I'm not generalizing it all here, I'm personalizing it all, of course. The only thing I mean is a personal change.
I've literally put my life on being more polished, more selective, more productive, less backblogged etc. And a new site redesign is a small part of it all! I can't wait to show you the final result. I'll try to ascend myself professionally. Believe me, I'm doing my best!
What do you y'all think about the redesign? Do you love it, do you hate it?

Zara checkered top

Today I went shopping in OZ Mall with my gal pal Vera. But our preliminary goal was to shoot my first fashion VLOG for you, my dearest friends. In my last post I wrote that I hate flogging, I mean vlogging. But as they say you'll never know till you try. It was all fun. I've never laughed so much in my entire life. People around were shocked at hearing my nagging Rushlish pronunciation. But who cares, yo?
So I hope I'll have been able to edit the video and post it here by the end of this week, maybe earlier, stay tuned then.
Actually, the first place we dropped by was my favourite Zara corner (sounds like Sarah Connor. Sarah who? LOL).
And yes, it was a women's department where I found this wonderful checked top. I love the way it matches my lousy checkered high - waisted pants. And you? I'm not sure about those pleather studded footwear in context of this particular combination, but if I went to a party, I would obviously dare to try them on counterweighted by some studded accessories. What think you?

How I spent a Defender of the Fatherland Day: preparation for Equus Fashion Night

It's the 23rd of February which is knows as a  Defender of the Fatherland Day here in Russia, and I'm currently home alone watching the Oscars which I'm going to blog about in my next blog entry.
Yesterday I went to bed quite early because I was feeling extremely tired. That is why I rose with the lark today  and I couldn't find anything better than download a Self-Timer camera application on my baby iPhone and play with clothes. Voila! Why?
As you probably know the preparation for Equus Fashion Night actively continues (I already blogged about it. Read the blog entry here), and its officials who organize  the event launched a photo contest on Instagram. The only thing you should do to get the long-awaited ticket is to post your photo  (or just a piece of clothes, or a jewelry) on your Instagram feed and then hashtag it #EquusFN2015.
The look must consist of the clothes you would wear if you've got a chance to visit the event in Galich Hall, the venue.
To be frank with you when I saw an alert from the sponsors, the first thing in my head was like: should I rush to the store immediately and help my credit card to be delivered, hah?
That was  my  "fashion victim" part speaking.
But my sane part prevailed and I thought why not to dig deeper inside my closet and give a new life to some good old foresaken items instead? As the saying goes "Everything new is old again", right?
I took my old black  jacket out for a spin (Helen Lichutina), mixed it with the black woolen trousers that I got on my 27th birthday from my mom, a striped tie (TERRANOVA) on a jeans shirt (vintage Levi's) perfectly accomplished my look. Oh, yes, and that 'polka dot' neckerchief (DIY) I put inside the jacket's upper patch pocket.
I think that my New Balance cuties don't match the look vraiment. I'd better put these Dior Homme embroidered loafers, but alas 472, 50 euros is too much for me, thank you. Even if we are talking about Dior Homme!
I was so excited about my photoshoot that I couldn't help but letting my inner Naomi out. Ha-Ha (Just a joke!)

First e-bay bloomer

Hello, friends!
Just a quick blogpost  at midnight. Believe it or not, but I've just made a purchase on a "oh - so - cheap - everything" kingdom aka e-bay for the FIRST time in my life!
I bought this Octopus Stand Tripod Mount + iPhone Holder which I need for my upcoming project this spring.
Can't wait the parcel to arrive from sexy Hong-Kong. It'll take approximately a month till this happens though, but whatevs. I'm still glad I did it.
I thought of buying a 'selfiestick' too, but I changed my mind cause I don't like selfies,  every Average Joe has it nowadays. And frankly speaking I don't need it at all .
I just thought it's better to buy something which brings more opportunities for shooting videos  from various angles. Cause as you may see, the tripod has a flexible multilegged body which can be adjusted to any ramified object be it a tree or your knee.
As for e-bay I has always hesitated over buying something over there, firstly because of some negative responds from  my friends, secondly because of the fact I need to wait a millenium till I get a purchased item, I hate waiting! Thirdly,  I hate queueing in the post office strugging with bleached workers with flabby tits who are so rude. Unfortunately they don't know what such thing as home delivery system is here in Krasnodar. But alas I can't handle it.
Fingers crossed, I hope I'll get my parcel all safe, and on time, cause I'm looking forward to pleasing your eyes  with more photos featuring my new SS lewks!
I wonder what did you make for the first time recently?

Buying spree for beauty products vs a new edition of GQ Russia

I like to think of my blog as of slowly opening gates to the most gorgeous things the world brings to my plate on a daily basis and that they're exposed to public view through my unique  prismatic charismatic vision.
Yes, you'e right, sweethearts, the key word here is "slowly".
We're living in a world of extremely high speeds, everything changes just like on a mouse click,  yes, but I'm keeping my own pace and I don't care about who what thinks.
The most important thing to me is people's attention  (bullsh#t!) exploring my own limits. I don't know how far I can move for, but I hope I can move as far as possible.
And I'm not urging things on for I'm scared  to miss something very important in my life.
And I think that it's reasonable to make a start from a bare minimum like I did when I started back in 2013 taking photos with my good ol' trash-y Samsung SLR camera. Now I have my iPhone which helps a lot in taking photos of a much better quality. But there's always something else to wish for, isn't it?
Like I'm dreaming of having a digtal camera or better -  two. I hope I'll get one soon.
But still I'm satisfied with what I have on my plate.
I remember the day when I had absolutely different priorities.
Actually they change with a speed of light except my same ol' same ol' love for beautiful clothes, and shoes, and accessories. and designers, and huge black cocks (It's a joke, it's a joke!).
Seriously, I never wanted the digital camera before, you know, but  now I would sell my ass on   e-bay just for having one of headliners of this list. (Just a joke.)..LOL.
It's the same with VLOGGING.
I swear to God,  the last thing I want to spend my precious time on is silly chit-chatting with my camera lens on public. I know that many of camwhoring YouTube voyeurs snatch zillions of cash on it.
I had not been  interested in da sh#t till I discovered a CUTE CUT app on App Market.
Playing with this has become one of my fav activities as of late. It's crazeeee.
Look what a VLOG I shot yesterday when I went shopping to grab a new edition of my favourite mag -  GQ Russia,  - and some beauty products which I've run out of. Do I look like a male version of Sonya Esman? ha-ha....Just kidding!

I'm wearing: H&M bomber jacket, H&M red slim jeans, camo printed rubber boots from a flea market, a hoody by Domyos, D&G leather 'postman' bag.

A Musical Pause with Maurice Chabale: SBTRKT - Something Goes Right

Guys, guys! Look at what I've just found in the vast expanses of the World Wide Web. Just listen to this track by Aaron Jerome behind a British project - SBTRKT, which even was used as a part-time soundtrack to the fall/winter 2011 Chanel Haute Couture fashion show. What a badass mute!
I've got it being autoplayed on my iPod for a couple of hours already, and I ain't even tired of it! I mean not at all! I've always  known that Brits are the hottest DJ-ers in the world, but this thing really caught on me. Hands down, I like it 100%!

Equus Fashion Night-2015

photo via keyauto

I'm thrilled to announce that on Fabruary, 26 in Galich Hall there is going to be held a festive two year old fashion event called  Equus Fashion Night 2015.
Under the support of "КЛЮЧАВТО" (KEYAUTO), one of the main auto dealers in South Russia, the core of the event will include a fashion show featuring the hottest luxe brands represented in Krasnodar stores, a musical accompanimment by the locals Dia Pason Chordon, and an offcial presentation of a  new flagship auto dealer center Hyundai – Equus. I would really love to join the festivities. Firstly, our first family car was Hyundai. Secondly, I have to be there! Come on, such kind of events is  really an uncommon bird.  I'd fight tooth and nail to get the invite, cause this is really worth seeing. I'm telling y'all. If I succeed, I'll let you know. Kisses!

GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY  S/S 15 Collection's highlight: "Zek kids " with painted nails

I was browsing online magazines represented on my computer front panel untill one of them led me to a  blog run by my might-have-been aunt   - unfathomable Diane Pernet.
There was a short mention about an emerging talent Russian designer  GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY
I won't get into singing a paean to this particular designer's glory. You can read an enunciating of what he does here, I just want to set your eyes on  the models' nails.
It's not a secret that I love playing with nail paints. Just remember my trip to Turkey last year when there were only two covered geriatric ladies who  dared to cast kind of judging looks at my feet fingernails painted with two coats of Essense.
Not a single reproach I heard from the rest people living in a country where half of the population has Islamic origins. Not that I connect the dots, but I think it matters! God bless Turkey!
If I dare step off the porch with multi-colored nails on my fingertips, and go further than my area, I'll be wooed and booed immediately like Kaney West at Grammy's and even worse, I swear! I haven't tried, but I just know it! And now look at these headshaved club kids who rock the runaway in slouchy sports suits and have their fingertips pink - and green - painted.  I love it! Though I think their total look might be less raunchy.
How does this 'scater generation' make you feel?

Weekly inspo digest

Hi hi hi, everyone! How are you doin'? Just in case you're interested, I'm doing OKAY though it's not my day today, and all da sh#t is because of me not being superstitious.
Check it out, I had an appointment fixed at 11:00 AM,  as I live in the outskirts in the middle of nowhere I have to leave two hours in advance because of an insane traffic.
It took me an hour and a half to wait for a taxi. It was the first mucker. I looked out of the window to check if it's freezing outside. But it was sunny. A fashion fanatic in me said to put on a sweatshirt and a pleather jacket, so I obeyed.  When I left home it turned out to be quite windy so I decided to change clothes and put on my favourite woolen coat which is super warm.
Then  a taxi person called me up, I left and at the very moment I was closing the door I realized that I had forgotten my phone. Y'all know that I'm absolutely helpless without my phone. So I had to come back.
Of course, we were stuck in the traffic, and I was terribly late. Isn't that a b#tch?
I' not superstisious,  and I don't look in the mirror as the superstition says here in Russia when you're back at any moment, but, of course, I'm realistic, and it's all because of MOI being irresponsible. Or  it's just not my day today?
Let's get back to the positive. You know that NYFW is in full swing (And it's actually always been my favourite fashion week), and streets of sexy New York overflow with a sexy fashion crowd. I like that apart from the big names, we have a chance to meet new talents so far year after year.

BTW the photo you see above is by my favourite gurl ELLA DASHKEVICH (I made a post about her) who got me this beautiful drawing for a Valentine's Day. I love my friends!

#TBT: Black Thursday or why I sometimes hate the fugly Russian reality

This photo is taken with my iPhone  at one of the toy corners in the shopping mall  "Gallery -  Krasnodar"
I'm wearing a turtle-neck by Helen Lichutina, a checked suit  by Windsor,  a woolen herring-bone pattern V-neck vest by helen Lichutina, a coat is by Aquascutum

Hallo, darlings! Here I am. The one who hasn't served you some pepper in the longest time, so be ready for a long-term anarthia from MOI, please.
I had nothing except negative things happened to me the other day, that's why I skipped the 'weekly inspo digest' and a review of the beginning of the fasheen month.  Hope to catch up with it on Sunday.
But I'd like to start with a positive reverse side of things before I burst out whining.
Today me, and my gal pal V whom I haven't seen for 2 years, met at a sushi place for a talky talk and a sumptious lunch together. My courtesy (yes, I can be a gentleman too, hah!).
I had so much fun, cause she's such a hilarious and positive kid (whoever is younger than me more than for two years I call him/her a kid). I literally burst out crying because I physically couldn't laugh anymore. It hurt me so much as if I left a surgical department where I had a Liposuction on my belly done.
I didn't take a picture of the food we had, but it was nothing special, except a desert. Wow, I had such a tasty cheese-cake which I had to shove into my oral cavity, because first it was all paid off so tasty I even can't express by word of mouth, and secondly and more importantly  - I had been completely full by the moment the waitress served it.
So then after lunch V wanted to show me some of the videos of her favourite 'blogger' (barf - altogether two fingers in your throat), but we failed to find WI-FI in the cafe (Welcome to Russia!), that's why we had to leave and find another place where there was a free Internet connection.
We were moving around the mall over and over again, when I once said  as I suddenly remembred it that I had to go to the University which I abandoned in 2013 for some reason. I needed to pick up my diploma from there. It's been staying there for two years, but the system says that if I wanna take the f#cking diploma back, I have to visit every f#cking hole aka cabinet in five different departments of the damn University.  It's imbecile, isn't it? That's why it took me so long to have the heart to go there again.
Speaking of V, we had got to know each other at the same University BTW, cause she was my group-mate, that's the story of our 1st meet. We had been getting very well with each other  till I decided to resign from my studies.  And how it usually happens nowadays - we lost a touch to finally find each other yeaterday  on a social net (Gosh, I adore social nets because of such kind of benefits they give to my mutual relationships with the entire world).
And that's that crazy thing I'm going to tell you about right now happened to me the moment we arrived at my dean's office

KUBLOG 2: photo exhibition

Dear friends, I've just come back from a very nice event held at the concept jewelery store "ART-лес".
The event was organized by the local huge online community (portal) KUBLOG that celebrated its 2 y.o.  anniversary (it was launched in 2012) there.
The team of KUBLOG decided to celebrate their birthday by throwing a party with lounge music, and a buffet filled with various light snacks, and clinking champagne kindly served by the local restaurant "Ekaterinodar".
But the cherry on a pie was a photo exhibition featuring works of professional (as well as non-professional) photographers coming from the Kuban Region.
KUB-bloggers, aka  members of the community, have chosen winners in four nominations: "Photo of the month", "Photo of the Year", and finally two special prizes set by Tatyana Zubkova, a chef executive of "PHOTOVISA", an annual photo fest, and one from  AZIMUT Hotel Resort & SPA Sochi 4*
All the photography was either published or produced during the past 12 months.
It was fun.
Thank you,  KUBLOG for sweet memories that I'll cherish forever.
Here's my personal photo diary about the event. Enjoy!

And the OSCAR goes to ....

Maurice Chabale's track of the week: Nino Katamadze & Insight "OLEI"

It’s been a while since I’ve done a random what I listened to type of post.
Time to do it right at the moment, cause I'm so excited to present to you my favourite  - 'obsession de la nuit'  - a performer from Georgia - Nino Katamadze, and her team called INSIGHT.
I firstly knew about Nino when I moved for Krasnodar in August, 2010 that's almost five years ago (Gosh, time flies!).
Ad posters which  represented her  profoundly expressive manner weer screaming her name from every rainproof billboard, even in the outskirts of Krasnodar.
Back in the day, I feeling like an Englishman in New York, but 100 times worse (cause I had no money, no work) after two months of making desperate tentatives for a job search, could find a job position at a 4  - stars hotel firstly as a waiter, and then promoted to one of some vacant administrative positions. Though I think it be like mostly a horrible life experience of mine, there were good sides of the deal like that one which refers to meeting many 'celebrities' who stay at the hotel before they have a concert.
Nino Katamadze was one of a few 'stars' (that's how we call famous people here in Russia) which luckily crossed my way at that time.
Don't get me into the detailed description of a bad ending story of our meet when I was so clumsy that I had nearly let a 500 $  worth plate drop on Nino's knees with a hot soup. Ooops!
She was still nice to me though, cause I'm sure she's an extremely well-mannered woman (Though I can't say the same about the people who accompanied her at that moment).
We  even exchanged a mutual smile with each other the very next day while going up to the 8th floor by elevator.
After this finally happy meet, I downloaded all of her songs which were accessible on a social network I won't name (cause it's too bad to be promoted on my site), and this was love at first chord (You know what I mean).
Due to Nino & Insight, their musical art to be exact, I fell in love with Georgian music in general, which highly enriched me culturally. I'll be forever indebted to you, Nino, for this life changing experience. I love you from the bottom of my heart!
As for you, cutie pies, I suggest you to be falling asleep every night to a new song by the jazz band of Nino called "Olei". This means "With love" in English.  Enjoy, and have a good night!

Listen and keep singing after me:

Olei... ielo... papi... oleeei... ieeelo...phophi...

Olei... ielo... papi... oleeei... ieeelo... kyala lala lolei...

Kya fa fara fu dei?
Kya fara fu lalalolalei?
Kya fara fu dei?!
Kya fara fu dei?!
Kya fara fu dei odi for me?!
Kya fa fara fu lalalolalei?..
Some ma la bu dei lo dei for me...
Kya fara fu dei... ia bu dei... ia bu dei... ia bu...
Kara ra la love me?

Join me there: High - profile events in KRASNODAR

Y'all probably know that I'm a real coach potato type of person. Let intensive air bombardments happen, I will never ever leave home, if I don't want to. Thanks to a hardwhorecore stage 4 Internet addiction diagnosis.
I'd better scroll through fashion pages of i-D, or Vogue than go out when a fugly day which has been like every day since Monday.
Who am I kidding though? If I have a good company here in Krasnodar (good means: non-homophobic, cool, sexy, and funny), I'd convert myself into good ol' Paris Hilton when her Louboutin heels gave off vapour because of that crazy number of 'till dawn' parties at each and every club around the globe she used to attend. I'm not Paris unfortunately (and I haven't got Louboutins either), that's why it's become a rule for me to live a life of an ostracized person.
Hello there, Robinson Crusoe!  But where is my Friday then?
We're born to break rules, that's why rain or sunshine I must kill a sociopath inside me, and attend some hot non-fashion events taking place  in the city this week. Because it's easier to find a chroc Birkin bag in India, than a worthy event in Krasnodar, you know. But I succeeded in having found some.
You're really welcome to accomany me at one of the following events. I'd really love to make acquaintance with new people! Don't worry -  I don't bite, coz I'm all a synonym of prettiness, and you know it, right?

Thank you, Bryanboy & Freja Beha!

Wanna the top 'high-gloss' fashion news, I'll give you the top 'high-gloss' fashion news!
Though I'm still recovering from the shock, just forget it!
I'm notifying you that the folowwing content has nevar evar been photochopped! This is the reality which choked my throat with a huge cock happiness!
The fiercest top model Freja Beha Erichsen (whom I adore!!!) and my blogging idol - Bryan Boy came to Earth from the top of Fasheen World to like me!
Not me personally, of course (because such a bitch as MOI doesn't deserve it), but my Instagram photos. that's enough to make me the happiest person on this planet!
My jaw almost touched the ground when I saw my Instagram Subscriptions. Don't you love that gadget-sy majesty?
I do! I really do!
Isn't it magical when people you admire contact you being at the same time on a different continent? Forget this religious "... shalt not make unto thee a graven image" b@llshit: if you like someone, let him/her know about it! I love Freja Beha, and I love Bryan Boy. Thank you guys for your staying down-to-earth despite the fact you're cool and fierce! I love y'all from the bottom of my heart!
Hope to see ya during the next Fashun Month!
Like an art guru Marina Abramovich who has balls to adress her vid. to Lars von Trier himself, I'm adressing my personal vid. to my fashion gurus - a flouting sad monkey Freja Beha and the funniest blogging icon Bryan Boy! Does this mean I have balls too? Answers via Ginnie in a bottle please!

PS: This is my biggest Christmas wish!

Weekly inspo digest

Grace Coddington, a creative director of American Vogue and a very wise woman  once said: "Always keep your eyes open…keep watching", so  I've been keeping in mind this genious gospel for this past week therefore I'd like to share with you everything which caught my eye.
Despite the old stuff that I hope you've all read on my demure territory of online fashion pretenstion on whatever you like, I have something new on da plate to share.
If not, let me remind you of reading about #1 COUTURE LOOK where I picked one image from several Couture shows of 2015 I liked, a short mention featuring Karl the Chancellor known as Karl Lagerfeld, and James Franco with his derisive vid which made me poop from laughter!
Ok, let' s get started! Here are some bits and pieces I drew my inspiration from:

Nature

Gosh if there's a thing in this turdhood (aka my district) which is able to inspire somebody somehow , an environment and a warm climate of Krasnodar are a few to mention.  When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is shaking off my bones by stretching myself in front of a window where I contemplate the beautiful sky lined by numerous shades of scarlet red mixed with a bit of orange and dark blue striped white on the horizon. Really Prada-esque, no?
