Street Style minute by Maurice Chabale

Here is my latest streetstyle collection of snaps I thought I would share with you all. I've just recently took them while running errands. Just for your visual pleasure. Be sure you're listening to Johannes Brahms when staring at the following pictures. It has an appeal.

Twinlebrities?

I've been watching Sonya Esman's vlogs for the past few months and I couldn't help but mentally comparing her face to a ubiquitous prototype out there:  someone who's originally from Russia, someone who's same pretty, someone who's a attention whore model, someone who's Miss SMT SMT. Can I see hoards of right answers!
And today I too was ready to pull my hair and slap my cheeks with both of my hands cause by putting two and two together I've finally guessed it right who Sonya reminds me of so bad! Talk about Must - Have - Been Miss Universe 2002! Yes, it's Oxana Fedorova
I know what some of you might have thought about: is it possible to compare a fresh looking but weirdly talking young YouTube babbler to a mature but titular silicone dumpster? I'll leave it to haters to answer the question.
I personally think in an opposite way. To me they're both pretty, successful, lucky b#tches  females,  who both  have some features strikingly similar to each other like an oval face, or divinely  beautiful eyes. Watch yourself:

I guess only me and this portal  ask ourselves such stupid questions and compare people to each other! But anything and everything is done for fun on this online territory so it's acceptable, right?  LOL

Wishlist for Summer 2015: Part I

I don't know how about you, but I'm already planning my summer wardrobe. I'm mostly spontaneous when it comes to my casual purchases in general  and  the whole thing is clear only after my credit card runs out of finances after all the shopping sprees done during the whole season.
But this time I just want to opt for some directory outfits which I'm going to wear and re-wear as "everyday pieces" during the upcoming summer season which I'm looking forward to come as soon as possible.
First of all,  I need something canary - yellow colored so bad: a tee, or cropped shorts, even a mere silk scarf would go. I'll try to find a thingamajig in a  couple of local second hand shops which I'm going to make an assault upon in context of my new project. If I don't find anything there, there's always an "e-bay- comes - to - rescue" option then.
I've put my eye on this JOHN SMEDLEY Keyly 3/4 Sleeve Striped Shirt in White / Canary. I wouldn't mind wearing this BCBG MAXAZRIA CECE CANARY SUNBURST PLEAT ONESHOULDER DRESS  and these Clarks JAINA CANARY Yellow Leather Comfort Hurache Strap Wedge Sandals together with pleasure if I could but alas. I would probably even not be able to afford myself these Glossy Canary Yellow Rubber Waterproof EDDIE BAUER Rain Skimmer Clog Shoes. What are we talking about? Till tolerance hasn't been stopped to be highly challenged  in this city  anymore, wearing colored outfits by males will be considered even  a more criminal act than  a masscare of baby dolphins with a shot-gun stick. The powers that be from the Swedish Immigration Services, are you reading this? Would you count this discriminational case based on sexual judgement as relevant enough to  welcome me in your sweet country like *forever*? Duh...
Then I'm pretty sure I need a lycra sweatshirt. I know in this insane humid sauna aka Krasnodar anything synthetic is a one fat taboo highlighed in red three times. No -  five.
But who cares when you have a love affair with something?  In my case it's the bloody wishful lycra. I think it's a good alternative option to neoprene which has recently become as popular as tweed these days.
I found out many interesting womenswear swetshirts on Louisaviaroma.com, but I'm afraid I'm unable to pay for any of them. So, I guess I'd better have the sweatshirt  custom-made 'de chez' my local tailor (BTW if you can sew and do this sweatshirt for me, e-mail me please. I'll probably want to make a few of them or send them up on a mass production, why not?). Imagine a white lycra T-D top with a blinging hand-ebbroidered with lurex threads cross interrupted by a "mauricechabale logo" on the front part. Oh, that's divine!

My first fashion show: SuzieM

Good moarning, my fashion children! Sorry if I made you think that my biggest dream has come true in the headline of my blogpost. It's not gonna happen....not now though. Just let me brag  a wee bit cause attending a fashion show is not so bad either, right? It's even better at some point: when you're an attendee -  it's all about enjoying fasheen in flesh (I mean in fabrics), but not going off your head at the backstage  scene like when you're a designer.
In short, I'm going to attend a *private* fashion event on the 10th of April. It's my first  time! And I'm super excited and terrified at the same time cause I have nothing appropriate  to wear! It's going to be something like performance slash fashion show slash ballet slash fashion orgy  held by Susanna Markerova, a founder of SuzieM. Should I look like Andrey Bartenev then or what?  LOL
So I got my invitation yesterday. Frankly speaking, I had no clue of the designer's name until yesterday, but I googled her on the net, and I think she is pretty. Live and see what she's got on her plate. Gonna share the details with you a bit later. Now I'm going to dream about my own fashion show with sheen-lebrities sitting in the front row. Oh,  delusions!!!

A contributor

I don't wanna jinx it, but *fingers crossed* I just can't resist sharing this thrilling piece of news: I'm going to contribute to a new project started by young enterpreneurs from Moscow. The whole project is a huge mistery to me and even to its manager who contacted me with an offer (LOL).
All I know is that I'm working over their Content part, and writing an article on a Russian history-related topic for their May issue. Keep track of my blog for new updates with details about the project. I'll let you know what's the news as soon as I'm aware of them myself.
For now I'm celebrating it with a plate of Turkish delight. Yum!

ZARA faux python leather backpack

While browsing webpages I've just  found this super nice Zara faux python leather backpack. And then I thought: wow, doesn't it remind me of something? A few clicks forward and I'm redirrected to a Bryanboy's blog where there's featured the same looking version of Marc by Marc Jacobs backpack which is now out of stock because it was released in 2011. Check it out:

That sheepskin coat

When I went to Sevastopol, Ukraine for a 2013 New Year holiday (Read my blogpost about the trip here) I got a very generous gift from my best friend's mother - a vintage sheepskin coat. I thought it's very chic, and since then I've been planning to visit my tailor to reshape the coat a bit because I look like a tapeworm in a bustier in it (Little did she know that her son's friend is a reincarnated Kochei the Deathless of a type kid . I kid you!), but my ridiculous schedule didn't allow me to do that. It's been a year the coat has been collecting dust in my wardrobe till today when I took it out for a spin when Krasnodar had been hit by HurricaneKatrina  the blizzard earlier this morning. Frankly speaking, I'm tired of this much non-cooperative weather. Though now I like the coat is oversized. Coz it's still a huge trend if the latest F/W 2015-16 shows are to be trusted, no? It looks plain and,  if dare I say it,  dull without the studded belt, so I tied the Centro belt around my waist. I think it's all good! Yet it was also comlimented by a few passer-by's oblique glances when I was mincing around the city center. And you know how complimentary it is for me to collect people's attention whenever I'm out. I'm glad!

A Chrystal Panda Head brooch

Of course, this brooch is nothing in comparison to her high-profile branded sister manufactured by Jacob & Co, but come on -  we are talking about 26$ not "price on demand" tags (which always means "I'm so frighteninly expensive that I'd better be hidden from public eye"). I still  love my new purchase.

Maurice Chabale for Yves Saint Laurent: AMP

Check out my new photo story for another brand which I' m a number one fan of  - YSL
I love what Monsieur Laurent did for his Maison de Couture back in the day as much as I love what Hedi Slimane does for the brand now.
So I don't know how to express my love to this Fashion House except eviscerating my pockets and buying one of their Couture dresses  pieces for my wedding. Still I don't have a wealthy Papa to buy it for me (I'm joking), let me just express my feelings in a form of art.

Maurice Chabale for Prada:  Ad Men's Project

Thrilled to share my new photo story with you. I'm dedicating this ad men's project to my favourite Fashion House - PRADA that I love so much!
I've spent weeks on thinking over the entire concept, the place to shoot the campaign, the production, the clothes, the accessories, and so on and so forth just for beauty's sake. I'm not bragging, just saying. Though the idea of working on an ad campaign has been freaking me out for years (I don't have a propriate education for becoming a professional producer, so I've been postponing this idea till now). As I'm that kind of person who doesn't wait for a unique chance to come, but who prefers to make something himself instead, I thought the right time has come. I hope you'll like the photos. tell me which one is your favourite (1-2-3?)

A story of one jacket

trousers, jacket, - Helen Lichutina , footwear - Centro

May I ask you to reminisce last year, a wintertime when Dolce & Gabbana released their Medieval inspired Fall/Winter 2014 Menswear collection
Long before that extravagant show I had been lusting over floral prints, that's when I went to a fabric shop to search for something similar to buy. And I found a small piece of floral printed cotton cloth in a busket filled with fabric debris. I fell over heels in love with it, bought it,  and then immediately sent it to my mum via post so that she could do something with a 90*80 sq. sm. floral grey-blue piece of art.
So my mom made of it a front and a back part of my new stunning bomber jacket. Speaking about the Dolce & Gabbana collection, you can see kings, knights, anywho but not floral prints. But I think my jacket could be a perfect addition to the main theme of the collection. It's like a beautiful garden where the knights and kings walk through.  Boasting long cuffed sleeves, silver zip fastening, a round neck collar and an elasticated waist to contour my absent curves, what can be more stunning than that?
When I finally got the jacket my eyes turned out into  those two heart-eyes-smiley emoticons. I  had danced,  kissed, and hugged with my baby till I put it inside my wardrobe to forget about it for a year  and a half (that poor destiny awaits for some of my outfits much often to be waiting for a better hour for them).
After that I put the jacket on only once to the cinema theatre to see the Woman in Black II
But today I thought that's the right time to let my baby shine in front of my iPhone camera. That's the photo sequel called "A story of one jacket". Enjoy!

Here is my latest streetstyle snaps I thought I would share with you all. The last photo was shot at my favourite location: a hay field not far from my house which you'll see many times yet afterall.
First of all, because it reminds me of what's already become legendary -  I mean that Tavi Gevinson + Rodarte + Target team up thing. And without any reason it seems just very inspiring to me!
Okay, let's start the review. This couple you see below had been discussing a fashion - related topic which details I took no heed of. But they got on my radar since then, so I snapped them from the back. It's interesting how they both are wearing a total black leather look, and only a girl's attire is shattered with splashes of colour which corresponds to the yellow and gray surroundings (yellow walls, gray pavement).  Amazing!

L'Officiel Russia is back: Gala Dinner at CDL

I think I'm the first person who's now posting my sincerest congratulations to the TPTBs at my favourite L'Officiel Russia who are probably vomiting in the bathtub at the moment and don't care about what my post is about. I'm joking.
Seriously, I'd like to congratulate Gillian Anderson's clone aka Ksenia Sobchak with her appointment to the post of editor-in-chief of glorious L'Officiel Russia. I'm on cloud nine!
It's hysterical. I mean who else but Ksenia could be appointed to take the patronage over the most challenging Russian glossy? I haven't still fully recovered from shock connected to that strange story of goddesslike Evelina Khromtchenko 's discharge initiated by AST
I'm happy for Ksenia though. Hope to see new interesting fashion stories on the magazine's pages soon.
I don't want to be unfounded, so below I'm posting sneak-peeks from a gala dinner organized by Mrs. Sobchak in order to celebrate the re-launch of the Russian edition of the mag.
The question is: why am I not sharing a table with Lena Perminova now but being cocooned in my four walls?  Did they forget about me or what? I hope if Ksenia stumbles upon this post tomorrow, her ange gardian will whisper to her left ear that she can't live without making me a contributor to her magazine. That would be the best excuse to me by that way. Am I delusional or what? But only Kaney West's cock would stop me from dreaming! Have a good night!

Any Day Now

OMG! Do you remember when  you last cried like a baby with an upset stomach? I'm doing it right now. And my couch has literally turned into Niagara Falls by now and I can hardly ever see my typing.
The reason? You wanna know the reason? Call it a tearjerker "Any Day Now" by Travis Fine. I'm telling y'all this is the most touching gay drama I've ever seen in my life. Thanks God things have moved on a bit in that direction! I wish things could take on a positive way in that direction and there would be  no such a notion as "discrimination" in a humanity's vocabulary at all!

A romance with ROMISH

A few days ago I while walking along Mira Street I was attracted by a very stylish wooden shopfront of Romish newly opened showroom. I decided to have a look at what's inside, and found a very nice selection of some famous fashion brands like: Burberry, Rodrigo Otazu, Sandro Guardiani, Rina Schimento, John Varvatos, Merc, Alan Red, L.I.V.E, Belucci etc.
A very nice lady welcomed me inside the shop and told in details about the concept of their showroom, and she was so loyal that kindly agreed to let me shoot a short video. Rush - rush to see and buy something for you or your beloved partner at Romish. It's summertime soon as you might remember.

Sweet memories

Photo: Serjio de Beijo

Yesterday was such a productive day. I'm surprised at my own productivity. I could do tons of work. And I'm still full of energie.
In particular -  while doing a non  - fashion project -  I literally  had to exhume my recent working archives for some unspeakable purposes, and I found out two editions of "SMOTRI KRASNODAR" ("Look Krasnodar") magazine in my chest - of - drawers. This magazine was my first start-up project ever in my life!
I dipped into them and I shed a tear because my recent works as a contributing author were so touching.
Back then in 2011 I was a complete layman to Jornalism. And when I was asked to  write anything I want  and create a full content for the mag had loomed up, my answer was positive.  It was a  no brainer. If you have time and have a free weekend, I would be pleased if you read an online version of a November 2012 edition here.  And here's a downloadable PDF version of a January 2012 edition. And tell me what you think. Thank you!
