Personal Shopper

Can't wait to see a new movie by Olivier Assayas "Personal Shopper" starring Kristen Stewart. Watch this 'bande d'annonce' of the film.
Do you have a personal shopper? Would you like to have it?
If you are in Krasnodar right at the moment we might go shopping together. I don't mind when I have free time. We'll have fun together.  Let me know via e-mail just in case.

ST.IMAGE SCHOOL OPEN DAY

On October, 22 2016 there was a small event canape-and-champagne like party thrown by Kate Starikova, a famous entrepreneur from Krasnodar who apart from her main project - Street Style Krasnodar - set a new one -  St.Image School. I've been following Kate on her social media accounts for years. And I like what she does, so I decided to go and support her.
St.Image School is an educational project for basic bitches who are unfamiliar with what style is people who want to learn how to 'correctly' sort out their clothes, build their image up from the bottoms, do make-up and all that sort of 'styling' thing.
It's quite phenomenal cause, come on,  in our oitskirts of nowhere aka Krasnodar noone cares about the way they look.
Kate with her incredible talents of team-building could gather together all the talented people in town (make-up artists, beauty parlour owners, stylists and image-makers) and founded a creative space for enthusiasts like herself. And it's really hard to resist from subscribing to school's 23 days programme.
As for the schedule of the newbie student stream follow the St.Image School's business account and you'll find it there.
Speakers are all bright and really professional personas: Ruslan Egiyans, Nataly Morozova, Alex Striga and many others.
The funny thing is that at the event I was a single male among more than twenty five girls (male speakers are not counted).
I liked it especially much because I met my former student there whom I haven't met for two years since she graduated from my course of French and left for London to continue studying.
She told me she wanted to work in PR.
So who knows, maybe she'll help to spread the word about my self-glorifying blog for its only purpose is to make my glitter ass rich and famous?! (I'm kidding). I love y'all!

Miroslava Duma interviews Damir Doma

I'm browsing Buro247.ru just now and found a very compelling Interview story told by Damir Doma.
In conversation with the Buro24/7's founder Miroslava Duma, the creative director of Damir Doma brand portrays himself as a complete Internet noise-free person:

"I don't take over Instagram. A person close to me blogs at @damirdomaofficial Insta-account for me because she knows what I like and I trust her. I don't have a wi-fi or a TV-set at home, I'm not active on social media outlets. This seems very important to me to a bit distract myself from this 'world otherwise one risks to get lost, lose time, energy and concentration'...." [translated from Russian into English by me, so the translation may possibly be not very precise, but the idea is rather clear, I guess]

What a wit!

I wish I could stop being an Internet Loner and start living a normal life which I guess will only happen when I turn 100 y.o., go to Heaven where they don't have Internet access [I'm joking!].

Alex Katz pour H&M

Photo collage by Maurice Chabale
(Used a portrait photo from Alex Katz Official website and an H&M logo from here)

Do you remember that crazy #HMBalmaination year when frantic diehard fans lined up at the dawn just to get their hands on the collection created by the French fashion house Balmain in collaboration with one of the biggest retailers in the world  - H&M
I guess the same story will repeat in case with the highly anticipated Kenzo & H&M collaboration launch on November, 3 2016.
I'm sure,  hoards of paesants customers will fight tooth & nail smashing the store windows on their way to get closer to fabulous Kenzo aethetics at cheaper price.
But what should be really worth fighting for is a unique selection of pieces born thanks to Alex Katz and H&M recent team up.
You can read this legendary American artist's biography here and then you'll understand why this particular colaboration is more exciting compared to all the H&M former team-ups with different luxury brands.
If Buro247.com.au is to be trusted, "from December 1 [this year], fans of his [Alex Katz] style worldwide will be able to take home clothing (both womenswear and menswear), accessories and homewares emblazoned with his sought-after artworks".

Dipping into the art collaboration waters is not a newly invented bicycle anymore, there are lots of examples to prove it. Read this article in "W" magazine to know more about the topic.
I think Alex Katz pour H&M  collection is really great news for people who face an eternal New Year's Eve Presents Dilemma.
So, save your pennies! Bonne chance and happy shopping to y'all!

New Stylen Gard brogue shoes

Brogue shoe, as it's widely known, are a form of outdoor country walking footwear which traces its roots in Ireland and Scotland. I think no closet should be without a pair of good brogue shoes to keep your feet  covered whether you're going formal or taking on a casual look. That's why it was a no brainer to me when I saw this pair by Stylen Gard a few weeks ago in a local mall (see the picture above). Beautifully crafted uppers and perforations set on pure white foam soles really stand out. They are just perfect except they're made of pleather but the design beats this little dismerit.
And yet, don't they remind you of the infamous Spazzolatto Antique Creeper Brogue Platforms by Prada which will cost you 1150$ on Saks Fifth Avenue?
Mine cost me just a 20$ cause lucky I am I  bought them on  sale.
Now for them I need a pair of custom trousers and a faux fur coat to equally date with.

Celestial escapees

I can finally get my hands on the blog to write my impressions of "Celestial Escapees" at "ODIN TEATR", a performance based on a few of Ivan Bunin's short stories. This is my second visit of this small stage. I really love it for its giving a sincere touch of intimacy set between the actors and us, the spectators.
My first time was when I visited the same theatre two years ago on the Mother's Day.
That was "A portrait", performance given by an individual professional actor Ravil Giljazetdinov, based on one of Nicolai Gogol's novels (you can read the blog entry about it here).
This time was different, because Bunin is that type of  writers who come from childhood and kindly associated with it, that's why he has a special place in my heart.  I still remember the time when I locked myself in the turned - into - a - room balcony place and was absorbed in reading of the "Dry Valley" complation of short stories.
"Celestial escapees" was one more portion of the Bunin magic, that I'm always taken up with.
Unfortunately, this kind of magic - real mix of genious acting, authentic ambiance, play live instruments and handmade costumes - is impossible to analyze and to describe in words. It has to be seen live!
Some moments tended to be so touching that I could hardly resist myself from bursting into tears.
My personal excitement about the show was doubled by the fact I had my partner by my side who had been holding my hand in his hand (hidden under a jacket though) during the entire play. Then we had supper in sushi place, went for a stroll and he showed me a very beautiful Aurora Complex of Singing Fountains, colourfully lighted by neon lights underneath streams of water pulled up in the air. You can enjoy them on my VK page (here).
To cut a long story short, I felt really happy that day. The performance was so wonderful that  it inspired me to write like a "memoir" blog entry on my second blog  for Livejournal. If you are a Russian speaking person, you can read the full entry here, if not - just enjoy the photos.

My look of the day included: Ray ban sunglasses, handmade vest & trousers & fake Chanel pearl necklace - courtesy of Helen Lichutina, shirt by H&M, watch by Michael Kors. shoes by Centro.

Ideal bag from Givenchy SS 2017 show

When I watched the full SS 2017 show by Givenchy I had a complex of controversial feelings. From the one hand I didn't like they switched from the eponimous go-to of hoodies & sweatshirts, athleisurewear dark romantisism concept to the "spiritual related to nature" one. But who am I to judge? Ricardo Tisci is genious.
From the other hand I fell in love with the accessories, especially with the bags. In my humble opinion, they might fight tooth and nail with the famous bloggers' it - favourites by J. W. Anderson for unconditional love of fashionistas.

KIM KARDASHIAN - WEST IS ROBBED AT HER PRIVATE RESIDENCE IN CENTRAL PARIS & MY PERSONAL STORY

OMG! This is so bad to be true!

Paris Fashion Weak Week is overshadowed by the terrifying news!

"Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpont Sunday night inside a luxury Paris apartment by two masked men dressed as police officers....", - reports NY Times

Imagine Ms.Kardashian - West embraced by precious silk, no make - up, having just returned home from a private dinner hosted by Azzedine Alaïa and  - wham bam - the front door suddenly opens and who she sees? Not less than the police escort of five armed men in the middle of the night.
Is it normal?!
If I were Kim I would shit in my pants, hands down. I would give everything including my virginity (which I lost a century ago) in order to avoid being harmed.
Thanks God, the reality TV star only lost her valuables (let it be estimated $10 000 000 worth).
The bastards were operating while the poor woman was shaking from fear locked in her bathroom.
Kaney West, the victim's husband, was performing in NYC at the moment. Understandable excuse.
But where were Kim's personal safeguard or any residence staff? I think they all should lose their jobs.
That's why Paris should go their immigrant policy  over and over again. So sick of terror in this city.
I will never ever set foot in the French capital until Monsieur François Hollande deals with the security situation in his commited area.
Speaking about the accident itself,  I  may say that I feel for Kim. Why?

As for Kim Kardashian West I hope she'll get well soon.
