Henry Ng from Streetstyleposer.com on the way to success

Dear night owls, go now & read a lovely article of my Insta-friend Henry Ng aka Streetstyleposer on streetstyleposer.com

"Another stamp of approval came from a follower in Ukraine who reads my blog. Having seen my street style snaps of intimidatingly tall, radiant and just absurdly stunning Koreans at Seoul Fashion Week SS17 – which incidentally left me weeping and feeling like a cheap peasant – he asked me to spill the T on getting invited to shows and events. ",  - writes Henry in his post dedicated to those who strive for getting a world-wide recognition among fashion insiders.

And guess who is that Ukrainian follower? LOLZ...

Though I'm not from Ukraine but from Russia,  but who cares though? It's not important when you are mentioned in the post of a fellow blogger  *WINK*

Thank you very much, Henry! I'm always glad to help!

Packaging for @mauricechabaledesign T-shirts and bow ties

Yas! I'm so happy that I could have found a proper packaging idea which really stands out. Pity that there aren't many copies of glittered packets (only 3 items)  and I am not sure if I will be able to find a factory where the following samples are produced. I bought them at a pound store on my way home and a bit redesigned the original version. As for the accessories boxes I specially went to the outskirts of  the city a few days ago to find a local paper factory where there is - compared to gift shops - a much wider choice of boxes. I must say that it was not an easy job to find simple style boxes at all.
I bought 6 colored boxes so that I could stick brand stickers to their tops. But they were the last ones on sale,  so it means sooner or later I will have to re-design my brand packaging. Egh.
There is another side of the coin: three of you lucky ones who will be the first to order my exclusive custom made tee-shirts will automatically be the first to get the limited edition packaging you see below. Follow my corporate  Instagram  not to miss the beginning of our retail sales release.

Krasnodar Fashion Week 2016: Season 3

I finally made it over to Krasnodar Fashion Week 2016 on November, 11 and got my pics from the event a few hours ago. I wouldn't have attended the shows but for my friends who were the press over there (yes, that means I got a ticket for free!). Thank you very much, my dearest: you know who you are!
All I want to say is that I had so much fun. I popped by the "ЛУК" corner shop, got some still water (eugh! shame on my doctor who strictly tabooed my alcohol consumption) and managed to watch five (!) shows.
The funniest part of it all was when me & my friend D, who was sitting beside me, were sharp-tonguing about almost every collection. I can't rememeber what exactly we were saying but I remember how my non-existent ABS muscles would ache the next day because of having laughed my guts out.
I guess I was the only person at this Fashion Week who knew all the celebrities aka "kea" people who were photo-worthy there so I didn't miss the chance. My jaw dropped down when I saw Max Gor, who used to style Ksenia Sobchak, Editor-in-Chief of L'Officiel Russia. And I asked my photographer to immediately snap us together. YAAAAAAAAAAS! Thank you,  Max!
Even my love Kate Starikova, founder of St.Image School and head of the famous local project Street Style Krasnodar, that I told you about in THIS post, was there and she kindly agreed to take a photo of hers.
Hysterical it was when she said to her photographer a bit later: "M***, you better snap us together with this boy right now!" and then  - to me: "Come on, show your beautiful pearls, hon. Quick! ". Tick, tick, tick!
I really like Kate, cause I think she is a talented manager who works hard to form a relatively presentable fashion landscape out of a shithole  Krasnodar city. Thank you for the special moment, darling and thank you for not being snobish like many fashion people are! *WINK*
To cut a story short, I hope I will manage to attend not only KFW but many other world fashion events in the future, so live and see!
For now I am thankful for the opportunity to outshine them all wearing my faux Chanel pearl necklace and that mesh top with a pleather corset shine bright like a diamond! Just a joke!!!  LOLZ!
I love y'all! Quick, don't sleep, enjoy the photos and leave a comment below!

I'm wearing: Helen Lichutina trousers, vintage coat, Zara mesh top,
vintage pleather corset belt, vintage pearl necklace, Stylen Gard brogues, Chanel sunglasses

P.S; I didn't have my camera on me that day -  so I don't have anything to show you, the collections I mean. But if you are interested what KFW16 was about you may visit their official website and see the photos from all three seasons. There are several short videos on my Instagram too (link below). Go check it out!

Maurice Chabale Design

Guys, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. I really don't blog as often as I should.
But this is just because there's been lots of hidden work going on recently. And I am happy to show up with the first fruits of my labor: I have launched my OWN label called "Maurice Chabale Design".  It's a non-official launch yet. I will inform you about the day when you are able to pre-order my products online. There are several "key" items of the collection which already saw the light but there's still lots of work to do.  I have a personal schedule (I cannot call it "business plan") which I religiously follow so I hope that  me and my team will be able to  launch sales  soon. By the end of December I suppose.
By now I have created an official Instagram account of the brand where you may find inspiration from posts which reflect the brand's aethetics.
Please support  my initiative by subscribing to it NOW. Don't be shy & click!!!
Now let's get right to the business. Let me tell you a bit what the whole concept is about and how the idea of creating a brand was born.
You know fashion IS my obsession. I mean literally. I simply can't live without beautiful images in zines, I can't imagine my life without planning my wardrobe every month, I will also die if I am somehow deprived of  an ability to be inspired by things which DO inspire me 24 hours a day.
Over the years I've developed a personal fear of not being accepted by particular 'circles', of being booed and laughed at -  that's why I never thought of crossing the borderline between my creative mental images and bringing them into reality. In other words I was scared of the idea of overcoming my insecurities and doing something significant.
I remember once I had an argument with an ex-friend of mine and he angrily said: "You are pathetic. You haven't done anything in this life and you don't have a right to behave like that. You are NOTHING". I was a very proud bird and I thought: "This basic bitch working as a freelance hairdresser in a dirty basement can't say things like that! I know who I am". But did I, indeed?
His words rooted inside my mind. Since then I got many questions with no answer: "Who am I?", "What is my target?" "What do I want?" etc.
And with that in my head I kept finding reasons & self-excuses for not fighting against my inner phobia. At the same time I have always had a vision which concerned particular things and I really wanted to create something which would correlate with my inner world.
I had been making clothes for Barbies since school years (the designs were not that bad I must say!), I could handle  that 'Janome' sewing machine when I was 7 years old thanks to my mom, I constantly made those "Fashion zines" which were actually plain school copybooks filled with fashion magazines cut-outs, clumsy sketches, patches of fabrics glued to paper, and so on and so forth.
The difference between NOW & THEN is that I  don't care anymore. I feel completely free thanks to many reason: from the fact that I have grown up in many ways (mentally & professionally) and to the vast abilities which all the social media give to all of us nowadays. As a matter of fact I'm going to do what I want/need to do. If people like it I would be really glad, but this story is not about combining as massive audience as possiple. This is more about overcoming my own self: fearful & insecure. And what is more important: this is also about creating beautiful things in a very particular sense as I envision them. Things which are going to be your second identity!

ABOUT  THE FIRST COLLECTION AND THE CONCEPT ITSELF

Maurice Chabale Design – is a Russian conceptual unisex brand founded by Alex Lichutin.
Maurice Chabale’s debut collection, entitled Monochromatic combines the designer’s own aesthetic with thinking and modern young generation’s culture. The idea is to create timeless and affordable pieces of handmade clothes and accessories while working with locally sourced materials and catering the best craftsmanship to exclusive clientèle of the brand.
Maurice Chabale Design creates unique items in a limited number of variations (sometimes there is only one single piece possible to purchase!).
Alex took inspiration in the surrounding areas, friends, his home interior, his background and rich Russian culture -  mixed it all together and spit it out in a form of a look book (WHICH IS COMING SOON), Instagram posts for his brand new business account, brand purchase wrappings and, of course, the product itself.
Taking on classic shapes and materials, Monochromatic’s power as collection is at the same time hidden in details, which are relevant and clever.
All production is done in Krasnodar (South Russia) and Moscow. All garments are designed and created by the designer himself to ensure a high level of produced items.
The A/W17 collection is very item-oriented and it features cotton tops with crocheted decorative details & original prits, plain shirts (65% Polyester/35%Cotton) with non-casual embroidery and exclusive printing work, crocheted bowties, and an accessory line of polymer clay or epoxy resins.

S.K.Design gloves

My friend is launching a small business on Instagram. Her brand is called S.K.Design and I'd like to support an emerging talent. The brand is specializing on producing handmade knitted accessories (from hats to scarves) of very high quality. They are opening in the end of the month if things go right, so keep track of my blog to be the first to know their official account launch date.
You will be able to purchase exclusive situations from their first collection.
I have seen some of the 'key' items and, trust me, they are just divine. They ship worldwide, so don't hesitate just in case.

Nevertheless yesterday I became a lucky owner of their firstly produced item - these wonderful  "Golden keys" gloves. Check it out!

Faithfully yours,

My new HELEN LICHUTINA jacket

Speaking about jackets, I got a new one by Helen Lichutina, my favorite tailor! You can see her profile here
98% of my closet is made by this incredible woman! She's highly talented and I wonder why she isn't at Chanel yet. I guess this is because she is not that ambitious type of person, but I bet she really could work for high-end brands as a seamstress. If you want something extraordinary you can write her directly via VK. But mind that she doesn't speak English, So you better contact me (my e-mail is mauricechabale@gmail.com) and I'll find a way to connect both of you and direct your desires toward her.
I'll deal with the worldwide shipping, but if you are in Krasnodar there's  no problem at all!
Just contact me and you'll get the best quality for exclusive tailored products!
I love love love my new jacket!!!  But I think I need to stick some hand-embroidered patches to it.
It seems a bit 'dull' and way too minimalistic. What think you?

I was lazy to iron it.  Sorry. When ironed it looks much better.

Bershka leopard skin faux furcoat & Zara "MJ" sequinned jacket

Before heading to DNS  I popped by two corners at "Gallery Krasnodar" yesterday because I was looking for cheap and chic leopard print eyewear frames (something like this).
They occasionally were Bershka & Zara. I know due to quality issues and all that hypocrite  talk around  'fast fashion' moguls it's bad and anti-human to shop at such places but since you're poor what are you supposed to do if you still want to be on - trend? You go & shop at Zara (or Bershka), of course. I don't but this time I needed the frames that's why I went to these particular corners. I had limited funds to buy original Fendi or even Etnia Barcelona, that's why local 'fast fashion' brands were just OK,  because I simply wanted to change the frames of my old crusty Crystal Clear glasses. I didn't need the new glasses, so why overpay?
Unfortunately they didn't have anything I liked there. But they had very nice faux fur - coat at Bershka and a Michael Jackson's  "Billie Jean"- inspired  black sequin jacket (Click here to buy). They both fit me perfectly, no?

Nikon D 3100 Camera

The only reason why I love my birthday is presents. The best present to me is money. Over the years
I 've been always asking for all my family members and friends to relax and give me an amount of money so that I could get the small parts of the sum together and  buy something valuable. Something I REALLY NEED. Something I CHOOSE, not anyone else.  Like in this case they're free of racking their brains which is a good thing I guess.
Last year I set for a new washing machine, some  years before that was a trip to Moscow, for example. This time one of my biggest dreams came true and I bought a camera. Gosh I feel so happy! I even tenderly call the camera 'my monster, my princess' 😃
My younger brother Antony is 'techie' so I asked him for help. He advised me to opt for Nikon D 3100 camera. I have to say that this is my first camera in life EVER! I've used iPhone 4 camera for all these years.
I'not a professional photographer and I don't need a super duper gadget with lots of settings to choose. The camera must be versatile and easy to use. That's it! And yet my main requirement was it had to perform good quality in photos when shooting.
Antony tried to make some shots yesterday and they are just all right! Hope the camera will serve me for years.

Faithfully yours,

29

I can't believe I turned 29 (TWENTY-FUCKIN'-NINE) years old the day before yesterday!
Why? Like when I look in the mirror I always see that young naive boy whom I've been used to seeing for years.
The difference between now & then is that Prada bags under my eyes  became way darker & more grey hairs appeared on my head. Who cares though? They still don't sell alcohol to me without asking for a passport, friends keep texting me: "OMG! You don't look like you're about to hit 30 at all" and, of course, I can't say I don't like it. Anyway me and my pal Vadim agreed to discover the magic of plastic surgery in a year. Live & see...
Time flies but I can remember my previous birthday which I spent alone. I felt so sick and miserable, abandoned by everyone. The current birthday is a different story. It started at Krasnodar Fashion Week 2016 followed by chilling with friends at 'Central Base' VIP zone and then continued at 'Minami' sushi bar with the people closest to my heart. I feel more than satisfired with it.
Let the pictures talk for themselves.

'Oscar'  leather coat by Veisoğlu

Autumn is in full swing, trees do lose their leaves forming a beautiful carpet all over the ground, the days get shorter, the weather gets cooler.  Two days ago it was November, 1 -  which means it won't take more than two months before we all step into the New Year 2017 (!).
It's time for new beginnings, new changes, doing a step up. I'm working on a new secret  project. can't wait for revealing the details!!!
Fall season is  also a high time to be multi-layering your skinny carcasses.
I asked my younger brother to be my slave  photographer for today (he would cost me less than a professionnal one) and we went out to be looking for a location for our photoshoot (I really wanted to show you a new look I styled for myself by mixing newly purchased clothes with some 'old' stuff). That was a few kilometers away from my house which was good cause I wanted to focus on taking pictures, not on restless searching. I guess the result is not so bad. Leave a comment below!
